With over 20 years of experience in learning and talent development roles that involve supporting and developing potential across a number of industries including Health, Fitness & Wellbeing, Recruitment, and the Employability Sector.  I am passionate about helping others achieve their potential, both personally and professionally, and have a genuine interest in people’s opinions, values, and drivers.  I am a massive advocate of Blended Learning using a variety of experiential learning interventions which allow individuals to take control of their own learning journey and maximise their personal growth and development, I have utilised my skills in these areas to co-write and develop both the IEP Sector Induction, the Level 3 certificate in employability practice, and support in the content for The Level 4 Apprentice in Employability.

I began my journey in frontline caseload management supporting the learning and development of programme participants within the Employability Sector. This blossomed into a passion for the design and delivery of high quality, effective blended learning content. After achieving teaching qualifications and delivering a wide variety of performance improvement programmes I was promoted into an L&D Logistics Manager Role. I managed the projects for planning and scheduling the comprehensive academic offer of blended learning solutions national rollouts of key business contracts, training packages and culture change events, and Learning Management System acquisition and implementation before moving on to co-found 2SimplyLearn. Since then, I have worked in partnership with the IEP in the co-writing and design of the Level 3 Certificate in Employability Practice, the first of accredited qualification of professional practice within the sector, and with Seetec Outsource in the co-design of their Level 4 Apprenticeship in Employability.

After a successful career in Retail Management and Leadership I focused my attention on helping people to develop and grow, I moved into learning and development (L&D) and now have over 20 years of experience in training design and delivery, and L&D IT roles across sectors including Employability and Retail.  My technical aptitude paired with my ability to know what learners need from modern technology led me to specialise in Digital and Multimedia Learning Interventions. After managing the procurement, implementation and roll-out of various L&D Platforms and software packages I decided to use my knowledge and experience to develop a Learning Management System (LMS) which uses a suite of functional tools to support Blended Learning Interventions, whilst being intuitive and accessible for users.

My goal is to make high quality engaging bite-sized Digital Learning interventions which encourage individuals to take control of their own learning journeys and achieve not only their goals but realise their potential in the modern workplace.

After graduating from university with a BDes in Sound for The Moving Image I took an interest in both videography and social media marketing. I specialize in creating high quality video content that tells compelling stories and engages audiences on social media platforms. I also have a passion for helping businesses grow their online presence by creating digital strategies that are tailored to the business’s unique needs and goals. With years of experience in the industry, I have a developed a deep understanding on how social media works. I stay up to date with the latest trends and algorithms that will give a social media account the best chance at reaching more clients. I am dedicated to helping businesses achieve their marketing objectives and drive results.

Our Offer

The 2SimplyLearn Learning Management System (LMS) is a cloud-based digital platform that has been designed to provide clients with a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that supports bespoke blended learning interventions to their people. In other words, our LMS is like your own online talent, learning and development academy. The system allows you to create and store digital learning programmes, provides learners access to the content, and helps you evaluate the results.

Microlearning uses media across multiple devices to engage and inspire learners to explore a topic further and encourages the learner to apply what they learn immediately. 

Microlearning are:

  • Are usually only two to three minutes long
  • Can be accessed by employees when and how they choose
  • Focus on one specific learning objective or concept

Some examples of a perfect fit for microlearning include:

  • A quick tutorial that covers a new system for employees to use
  • A quick video followed by a test to accompany the roll-out of a new process or product
  • Small modules that employees can access to help them learn an advanced skill

Blended learning is an approach that uses both face-to-face classroom instruction and online learning to maximize the learning experience. The blended learning paradigm successfully blends the individualized attention of the classroom with the independence and flexibility of eLearning.

Instructor-led Training (ILT) + Online Learning (synchronous and asynchronous) + Performance Support = Blended Learning.

Blended learning combines traditional, instructor-led learning with digital computer-based learning and can solve the issues that both traditional learning and eLearning face by combining the best of both approaches.

The “traditional” aspects of instructor-led learning can be delivered online in real-time through, virtual classroom sessions, live meetings and webinars. Likewise, employees may get a foundation for a topic with an eLearning course or MicroLearning session, and then practice those skills in a live simulation with an instructor within a virtual classroom.

A virtual classroom is an online classroom that allows participants to communicate with one another, view presentations or videos, interact with other each other, and engage in learning activities.  For learners, a VC allows them to benefit from the opportunity to learn new skills without having to travel.  

The features of our VC promotes interactivity, synchrony, ease of use and a sense of community. 2SimplyLearn’s CV boasts a wide range of tools including webcams, audio chat, text chat, resource sharing, e-board, hand raising, application sharing, breakout rooms, polling, emoticons, videos, and archiving sessions.   Most traditional classroom training can be converted to suit a virtual classroom allowing organisations and learners to reap the benefits of this approach. At 2SimplyLearn we have qualified VC facilitators and Producers who can ensure that learning objectives are met within each session.
